Are you suffering from Degenerative Disc Disease?

Disc degeneration happens over time as the discs between your vertebra lose their hydration and become dry and brittle. Acute or repetitive trauma, long term postural stress, decreased range of motion, dehydration and other factors such as smoking are just a few of the factors that lead to disc degeneration. When a disc loses height and flexibility, the joints in the spine become compressed and can cause the nerves to become irritated a fire pain signals to the brain.

How do I know if I have Degenerated Discs?

Degenerative disc disease is easily seen on x-ray imaging that your physician may order if he suspects you may be experiencing symptoms such as achiness, stiffness and a compressed feeling within your joints. On x-ray you will notice a decreased joint space in between the vertebrae and in more severe cases, the development of bone spurs (osteophytes).

How we can help with your pain

We have a 3 step approach to helping you with your disc pain that has a patient satisfaction rate of over 97%!

Step 1: Decompression

Our state of the art decompression unit relieves pressure off of the compressed discs and joints of the spine and creates space for fluid to get back into the dry and brittle spinal discs.

Step 2: Restore motion

This is done through active stretching techniques and chiropractic adjustments to restore motion to the restricted joints.

Step 3: Strengthen

Strengthening muscles and improving posture helps keep the joints unloaded and maintains proper alignment throughout your spine.
