Arthritis

What is Arthritis?

Arthritis means inflammation of a jointMost people attribute arthritis as a normal part of the aging processWhile this is partially true, arthritis is NOT normal for anyone under 70 years of age. Arthritis is an inflammatory response to joint degeneration that stems from poor diet, sedentary lifestyle and genetics. A joint that begins to degenerate starts to dry out and the surfaces inside the joint begin to rub against each otherThis can lead to:

What causes Arthritis?

Simply put, the food, stress and liquids we drink cause inflammation in our body. Arthritis happens when a joint loses it’s ability to pump out inflammation due to restricted motion. Every joint in your body has lubricating fluid inside that allows the joint to glide without friction. Similar to squeezing dirty water out of a sponge, our joints rely on movement to pump out inflammation. When a joint loses this ability to pump out inflammation, the joint begins to lose fluid, dry out and become brittle. Friction causes the surfaces to rub against each other and wear down. The nerves sense this process and send pain signals to the brain.

Treatment Options

Our non-surgical Arthritis protocol of restoring fluid into the joint, physical therapy and nutrition have proven effective in over 95% of patients with Arthritis.
